Ceramill Software 4.9 Elefsina – 2025

Ceramil Software 4.9 for Amann Girrbach Devices

Ceramill 4.9 Elefsina (2025)

The 2025 version of the Ceramill software (4.9)

Each year, Amann Girrbach releases an updated version of its Ceramill software based on the latest exocad release. The Ceramill 2025 (version 4.9) package includes all current features and updates from the corresponding Exocad edition. This latest release—known as Elefsina in Exocad—is now available for download and installation.

This software package is composed of four main modules:

  • Ceramill Map – used for scanning with Amann Girrbach scanners
  • Ceramill Mind – used for designing the scanned data
  • Ceramill Match – used for nesting and defining milling strategies
  • Ceramill Motion and Move – links Ceramill Match with the milling machine

also:

  • Ceramill M-Build – CAD software module for the fabrication of milled or printed models based on intraoral scan data.
  • Ceramill M-Part – Digital partial denture frameworks, Specifically developed for the milling and printing process in the dental laboratory.

Each of these modules—Map, Mind, Match, and Motion—has been significantly updated or improved in this version.

Key Innovations and Enhancements in Ceramill 4.9 (2025):

۱. Artex Print&Click System – Core Innovation

A plaster-free solution for mounting 3D-printed models onto the articulator:

  • Model Package: The software automatically calculates the proper model height and the required number of spacer plates (Spacer Plates), which is then engraved onto the model.
  • Model Base Plate: Features a special design with elevated struts to ensure pinpoint contact, compensating for 3D printer tolerances, creating a “floating” yet stable model placement.
  • Streamlined Workflow: Design → Print → Clean → Click onto the base plate → Ready for articulator.

۲. Ceramill M-Part 1.7 – Partial Denture Framework Design

Enhanced for 3D-printing removable partial denture frameworks:

  • New Design Options: Integrated design that includes the metal framework, teeth, and gingiva.
  • Advanced Editing Tools: Cross-section view, improved control over clasp thickness and shape, and lingual bars.

۳. Ceramill Cockpit & CAM Updates

  • Modular Updates: Each software component (Cockpit, CAM, etc.) can be updated separately, allowing quicker access to new features.
  • Shortcuts: Launch auxiliary tools or external software (e.g., Bite Finder) directly from within the Cockpit interface.
  • New Milling Tools: ۳ mm shank tools with enhanced durability; color-coded (gray and green) for different materials.
  • Implant-Level Milling: Allows direct milling of implant connection geometries onto various materials, according to manufacturer specifications.
